We currently service the Wayne, Belleville, Westland, Romulus and Canton area. If we don't service your area yet, please provide your name and email during the sign up process to be placed on our waiting list. We will notify you when we begin servicing your area.
3How does it work?
Once you sign up, you’ll be able to select the options that work best for you. We have “recurring” and “by request” services. You can choose your detergent, softener, dryer sheets, bleach and color-safe bleach preferences. If you have any special instructions or requests, just let us know. The last step is to enter your billing information.
4Do I need to do anything after I sign up?
1) Ensure that "Notifications" are enabled in your account so that you can receive reminders and alerts as desired.
2) The day of pickup, leave your laundry out. Please use cloth or disposable bags marked with your name and "Tubs and Tumblers" for your first laundry service. Please don't use any form of carton or hamper.
3) Your clothes will be returned to you the same day or next day, depending on if you order same day or next day delivery .
5What is the turnaround-time?
Your professionally washed and folded clothes will be returned to you the day after we pick them up.
6Do you offer Dry Cleaning?
We will handle any items that are machine washable. We do not offer Dry Cleaning.
7Can I receive texts as well as, or instead of, emails?
Yes. Just log into your account and adjust your notification settings.
8Is there any contract or long-term commitment?
Nope! You can cancel or suspend your account at any time.
9Does Tubs and Tumblers provide commercial laundry services?
10How much does your service cost?
* Our Standard Service is $1.65/lb. We'll pick up your laundry the day you order, and then deliver the next day.
* Our Express Service is $1.85/lb. We'll pick up and deliver your laundry the day you order.
11How does my laundry get weighed?
We'll weigh your laundry when we receive them. Before weighing, all items that are invoiced individually (bedding, etc.) will be separated from the "per pound" portion.
12How will I be billed?
We charge your credit or debit card directly once the total cost of your order is calculated.
Once your card is charged, we'll email you an itemized invoice. Your invoice totals can also be sent to you by text.
13Is my laundry weighed wet or dry?
Your laundry is weighed when it's dry. It's not weighed when it's wet.
We accept wet laundry, although please put them in small bags so that each bag isn't too heavy.
After your laundry is washed, dried, folded, packed and weighed, your credit/debit card is charged for the cost of the service.
14Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express cards.
15Is there a minimum charge?
There is a $20 minimum on Standard (next-day) orders, and a $30 minimum on Express (same-day) orders.
For next day "per pound" orders minimum poundage accepted is 15 lbs. ($1.65/lb x 15 lbs = $24.75
For next day "per pound" orders minimum poundage accepted is 15 lbs. ($1.85/lb x 15 lbs = $27.75)
16Can I change or update my laundry profile?
Yes. Some customers tweak their profile prior to every pickup because they have special instructions for us. Other customers set up their preferences when creating their account and then rarely change them.
17 What if I have large bedding or other household items? Are they charged by the pound?
Large items like bedspreads, comforters, and pillows are separated before your laundry is weighed and are invoiced at a per-piece rate. Pricing is available on the order application when you place your order.
18What are the pickup/delivery time windows?
The windows are as follows:
8:30 AM - 06:30 PM, Sun
10:30 AM - 07:30 PM, Mon - Thurs
8:30 AM - 06:30 PM, Fri
3:30 AM - 07:30 PM, Sat
